Here are the wheel spacers mocked up with the rims. These will give the Humvee the proper stance as well as keeping the wheels original vs re-centering them.

Here are the new wheels for the new Humvee! Genuine military double bead-lock wheels with low profile rubber run-flats. At 150 lbs apiece these are a bit of a chore to haul around.

Since I am going to be using real Humvee wheels on my build I will need to address the backspacing issue. Humvee wheels have 7" of backspacing, 3" wheel spacers put me at 4" of backspacing. This will make the wheels flush with the sides of my build. I ordered these off of eBay, all four cost me $300 and they come with a lifetime warranty.

I ordered a disc brake conversion for the rear Dana 70 from DIY4X4.com
I quite pleased with the quality of everything, the rotors are standard Chevy k20 that are bored out to clear the hubs on the D70

I am hosting these pics for a fellow hummer builder. He used a real hummer body atop a different vehicle drive train.

Farewell

Since I have been building the new hummer some of you may be wondering what I'm doing with the old one. Well I don't need two of them and the new will blow the old one out of the water. So I put up on eBay and this chapter comes to an end as the Funvee leaves for its new home in Florida. Since i have grown partial to it i wanted to send it off as complete as possible. So I finally installed a new temp gauge and horn.
