This is what $200 in valving and FOX oil looks like. Those machined stainless steel washers are what control how stiff or soft the shocks will ride.

Air
We finaly got around to cleaning the air filter on ole blue and damn it was over due. The filter itself was a cotton type like a k&n. We have no idea what brand it is, we sprayed the K&N cleaner on it and rinsed it out as well as washing the intake tube and filter mounting plate.

The rear shocks for the Humvee arrived, I scored these on eBay like pretty much I have ever bought for my "unique" project.

Shocks pt2
The first thing in straightening out the shock situation is to replace the damaged line. I removed the custom made line from the non-leaking shock and took it to a local bearing shop. They made me up a new one while I waited and it only cost me $25.

Fox
I picked up pair of used fox 2.0 shocks from a friend. One of the reservoir lines was a custom made hydraulic line the other was kinked and leaking. These are custom valved for another truck so they will have to be re-valved for my truck. Making a big truck ride and handle good is not going to be cheap but the last one I had rode a bit rough and I want to build this one right!
